ACT
OF THE PARLIAMENT OF THE REPUBLIC
OF GHANA ENTITLED THE
WHISTLEBLOWER ACT, 2006
AN ACT to provide for the manner in which individuals may in the public interest disclose information that relates to unlawful or other illegal conduct or corrupt practices of others; to provide for the protection against victimisation of persons who make these disclosures; to provide for a Fund to reward individuals who make the disclosures and to provide for related matters.
This blog is designed to expose corrupt individuals in our society, whatever way you see it, if it amounts to corruption, just let the culprit out. Do not be afraid because you're going to be anonymous and ACT 720 will protect us. We also have a big reward with the most High.
President Barack Obama called for "protecting whistle-blowers to advance transparency and accountability" during his speech in Ghana. He did so in the context of promising an increase in "assistance for responsible individuals and institutions, with a focus on supporting good governance."

ReplyDeletethe whistle blower act is very comprehensive but all ghanaians must be fully aware of the content in other to be able to exercise this responsibility but i believe the allocation of resources for publishing and sensitizing all of the act are limited. This is the first hurdle we must tackle. thank you
